Spanish hairdresser Alazne Montero creates a fascinating hairfashion collection inspired by the legendary covens, typical of Basque culture.
‘Akelarre’ by Alazne Montero is a collection inspired by the union and teamwork of strong, warrior women with their own identity, who fight for their ideals. It presents four classic styles, reinvented and timeless, which are identified with each of the stages of the “akelarres” of Basque culture: The Summoning, The Tribute, The Black Mass and the Orgy, and The Banquet.
Alazne declares herself a convinced lover of the most creative part of hairdressing. In just a few years in this sector, the stylist of Basque origin has been able to create several, inspiring hair fashion collections, has been a finalist in various hairdressing competitions and has worked for numerous fashion editorials. At the end of 2020 she created the Punkrose hairdressing blog, and the following year, at the end of 2021, she finally opened her own salon, Punkrose Salon, which has been featured by several publications due to her work philosophy.
