Stylists from across the Rainbow Room International salons really happy to tend the tresses of the stars at this year’s BAFTA Scotland Awards. They ensured the hair looked its best before guests walked the red carpet and attended the renowned awards ceremony.
Held this year at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central, The BAFTA Scotland Awards honour excellence and celebrate talent across film, games and television in Scotland.
Celebs included Radio DJ, Arielle Free, whose hair Art Director at the Clarkston salon, Adele Quinn, styled into gorgeous glossy waves. Actress Julia Brown who Alexandra McBurnie, Stylist at the Great Western Road salon styled the hair of, wore a low, sleek pony with a middle parting. Actress Lois Chimimba’s sported a voluminous updo with hair pieces left out for a soft, romantic look by Brogan Connolly, Master Hair Designer at Bearsden and Actor and Nominee, Jack Lowden had his hair styled by Archie Lam, Fast Track at Howard Street into a modern, side parted and slick style. Sleek styles were one of the key looks of the night with Shanden Russell, Assistant at Uddingston styling Actress Hayley Squires hair straight and smooth, tucked behind the ears for further glamour.
Commenting on supervising the Rainbow Room International team at the event, Andrew Donaldson, Director of the Rainbow Room International Crow Road Salon said, “It was great to be back at The BAFTA Scotland Awards this year styling the hair for the stars and the BAFTA team. We are so happy that our salon group worked backstage at major Scottish events like this, the team always have an incredible time and it’s such a great experience for them.”
