The Professional Beauty Association will be hosting the Third Annual California Compliance Session on June 26, 2022 at ISSE in Long Beach

The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) has announced the third annual California Compliance Session. This two-hour event will take place Sunday, June 26 at 9:30am PST at ISSE in Long Beach, CA. The PBA is the largest and most inclusive national trade organization representing manufacturers, distributors, salon and spa business owners, and licensed beauty professionals. As a result, it is also one of the most authoritative.

All about the CCS

California Compliance Sessions feature leading professional industry experts taking an in-depth look at critical California labor and wage laws. Designed for employment-based Salon Owners in California, the event will feature guest panelists sharing their professional expertise regarding:

  • Employee compensation plans
  • Legislative and policy updates
  • Cosmetology licensing updates
  • IRS tax updates

On a positive note, salon owners who decide to attend will be able to ask questions directly to a variety of bodies and individuals. These include the PBA’s California-based labor law legal counsel, PBA’s California lobbyist, PBA salon owner members, California’s Executive Officer for the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Moreover, a representative of the IRS will also be on hand.
