Rose Gold – one of the most dazzling hair colours to be on trend this spring, rose gold and shimmering apricot shades are perfect for blondes who want to be creative with their hair colour and give their hair an optimum shine. This shade features a blend of apricot and rose pink hues and will instantly warm any complexion. For clients not ready to go full on candyfloss pink this shade is perfect and a lot more subtle yet still striking.
Soft Coral/Peach – orange tones will be one of the most popular hair colour trends this spring. Burnt orange and bold coral will be two popular shades but for those who like something a bit mellower, soft corals and peaches will be centre stage. Not only are these colours on trend but they’re also a great colour for clients to opt for if they are in between stages with your colour and in the process of going from brunette to blonde and want to experiment with some fun shades along the way.
Candyfloss Pink – hues of candyfloss and blush will be a front runner for pink hair colour this season. Pink hair makes a comeback year after year and it’s not hard to see why – it always looks so flawless! For clients who don’t want this hair colour so vibrant, talk to them about having a chalkier take on the look. This gives the pink tone an almost washed out effect and is a trend we are going to see a lot more of for 2021 in all hair colours. The beauty of any pink tone is that it blends out really beautifully and some hues, like the Candyfloss Pink, may turn into a gorgeous peachy tone allowing you the client to try out two hair colour looks.
Icy Blue – as seen on celebs like Kylie Jenner, icy blue is a great colour choice for those who want to stand out from the crowd this spring. However, this hair colour is also great for adding dimension to the hair too. For clients who don’t want to go for an all over blue, they can experiment with adding slices or highlights of blue tones for a quirky update for the season. Blue tones like this look particularly great on those with pale skin and are fantastic for adding shine.
Illuminating Yellow – one of this year’s Pantone Colours of the Year, this of course had to be one of the pastel trends that will be huge this spring time. A happy and cheerful colour this is definitely what we all need for spring 2021! For blondes in particular, opting for a yellow shade is a great way to add some fun to their hair and will fade better than most colours allowing them to transition back blonde a lot more easily.
Lilac – lilac hair colour has not been as popular as the pink tones in recent years but for 2021 this will change. Hair colour is becoming more inventive and lockdown has made everyone want to be more creative with their hair and choose more experimental hair colours. A super modern pastel hair colour that’s cool and interesting and works on all skin tones and ages this is a perfect choice this spring. Lilac also works beautifully paired with grey, so for more mature ladies, they may want to experiment with this colour via highlights and through flashes of colour through their hair to give it a cool and on trend update for the season.
