Organisational changes are happening at the head of Davines UK. Mike Beauchamp, who joined the company 15 years ago, will be leaving the UK business at the end of July. The Davines Group UK announcement says he will be replaced in the role of General Manager for the UK market by Matt Martin, starting August 23rd, 2021.
“After 15-years working with Davines and sharing the journey of the passionate people who serve its cause, the time has come to journey ‘home’,” says Mike. “That journey started with a chance peek at the brand in a small salon at the foot of Mt Taranaki in New Zealand’. Little did I foresee how that encounter would change my life and lead me to where I am today. After a wonderful & life affirming number of years with the privilege to lead Davines in London, my wife Toni & I have decided to return ‘home’ to Sydney, Australia to live near our 3 children and extended family.”
“My best wishes go to Matt Martin (above).” Mike continues. “His experienced and wise hands will, I am sure, steer the Davines brand & UK team onwards and upwards.”
A New Business and Life Journey
Davide Bollati, Group Chair, Anthony Molet, Group CEO, and Mark Giannandrea, Global Head of Davines Haircare, are warmly thanking Mike for his work, his passion, and his commitment to the brand in these 15 years, wishing him all the best for his new life journey; while welcoming Matt to the Davines family.

Matt Martin (above) joins Davines from Kao Salon Division. There, he held the position of Commercial Strategy & Planning Director for the EMEA region; he designed the go to market plans across all sales channels. With 23 years in the professional hair care industry, Matt spent the first 18 with Wella in the UK. There he worked across Sales, Marketing and Commercial functions. His passion for the industry and for the people he works with is what led him to Davines.
“I’m incredibly proud to have the opportunity to join a company such as Davines,” Matt comments. “Seeing the commitment Davines has to its people, the industry, and the sustainability of the Planet is inspiring; it’s completely in line with my values. I’m excited to be able to build on the legacy that Mike is leaving in the UK. I look forward to meeting with the team and our customers soon.”
