Learn how to create the most amazing dimensional blonde curls with Lindsey Olson, Sam Villa Ambassador.
When styling hair, dimension is crucial to accentuate texture and finish. It’s hard to see detail on extremely light monochromatic blonde, but the right balance of light and dark blonde tones together creates the perfect palette to capture light and reflect shine and curl pattern. Lindsey Olson, Sam Villa Ambassador @lindsey.marie.olson, offers tips for gorgeous blonde curls.
“Having dimension in blonde hair allows texture to pop because the lighter parts have a darker background for contrast. It’s especially important to have that dimension at the base, curls should always have a deeper base color to standout,” explains Olson.
Hot Styling Tip: When working with thermal tools, remember that blondes show everything, so bevel or round the section upon contact to prevent iron marks.
