Curated salon supply company SimplyHair presented their motivational ‘Cocktails and Conversations’ event in partnership with prestigious hair-care brand Olaplex. The evening was held at Canterbury’s medieval gateway and historic city jail The Pound, a magnificent venue to set the scene. Guests were greeted with customised cocktails and a brand insight into the brands.
The Event was hosted by SimplyHair’s Managing Director and founder Amy Filippaios along with her team celebrating creative talent within the hairdressing industry. Attended by leading Kent based hair salons and VIP customers the evening showcased the brand’s ethos and gave guests a burst of inspiration to utilise in their own business.
Simon Ashtari, Sales Manager of Olaplex and a former award-winning Salon Stylist gave guests an inspiring talk on the esteemed range as well as an insight into their new 4D Clean Volume Detox Dry Shampoo. Olaplex and SimplyHair natural hair extensions are the perfect synergy, the products are so versatile and are amazing for maintaining the natural beauty and quality of hair.
Guests were then treated to a speech and Q&A session from Rochelle Anthony, owner of the Dolls House Salon in Milton Keynes, and current contestant in the new series of The BBC’s Apprentice. Rochelle calls herself the ‘Kim Kardashian of the business world’ and delivered an inspirational insight into her time in the famous boardroom as well as how she manages her day-to-day running of her own hair salon and business. Rochelle who has used SimplyHair for a couple of years now quoted:
“It’s been tough times recently for our industry, so it was nice to be invited along to this event to give my first ever public talk and give a little something back. They have a very similar ethos to me, and my salon business and I am delighted to use their hair on my clients who deserve the best”.
The event was a massive success; celebrating some of the best talents within hair care in Kent with attendees leaving feeling motivated and inspired to adapt the skills and advice into practice. Each salon was also presented with goodie bags packed full of SimplyHair products, treats and gifts from the sponsors.
