Hair & Vision Event Wows Glasgow

The first Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Hair & Vision event since the pandemic came back with a bang, as more than 100 hairdressers enjoyed a night of creativity.

The Hair & Vision event, with sponsorship by Wella Professionals, headed for Glasgow. It saw teams present the theme Blondes. Host for the night was Fellowship Head of Business, Colin McAndrew from Medusa Hairdressing. He welcomed the Scottish hairdressers to the Drygate nightclub in the heart of the city.

A new vision for the future

Special guest was Fellowship President and British Hairdresser of the Year Robert Eaton. He talked about his creative journey and his honour at leading the Fellowship with a new vision for the future.

Simon Hill from Sesh Hairdressing presented beautiful blonde curls. Meanwhile, Sophie Laidlaw and Stephanie Gallagher from Wonderland stepped back to the seventies with big, voluminous curls.

Paul Paterson from Medusa Hairdressing talked about his technique when working on a beautiful metallic mullet, and Craig Parvin, also from Medusa Hairdressing, crimped his long blonde adding maximum height to his dishevelled updo.

Brian McCallum from Roar Hair & Beauty presented this latest cutting techniques his clients are asking for, while later in the evening Natalie Waugh Linton & Mac added violet tones to long hair for the perfect festival look. Amy Christie from The Gym showcased a blonde mullet and beautiful pixie crop, while soft, blonde curls and an everyday haircut were presented by Erin Marley from Rein & Co.

Robert said: “It was great to bring our Hair & Vision event to Scotland and I was delighted to see so many hairdressers enthusiastic about learning and sharing their skills. We have more Hair & Vision events planned for 2022 where we will invite the brightest talents in British hairdressing to showcase their skills and latest collections so watch this space.”
