In the fight against breast cancer, Olivia Garden, a leading manufacturer in professional hair tools, has donated €23,094 to Think Pink Europe, thanks to all the hairdressers across Europe who made the decision to buy the brand’s limited edition Think Pink brushes and scissors.
This is the third time the Belgian company has partnered with Think Pink to raise awareness for breast cancer. For every brush sold, Olivia Garden donated 1 Euro for every brush sold and 5 Euros for every Shear Kit sold. The manufacturer revamped its famous NanoThermic brushes and the bestselling SilkCut in a gorgeous Pink and Silver limited edition. Despite the Corona virus situation, this year again let to a great success; the tools were quickly sold out during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
“Think Pink Europe strives to close the health gap in our continent, to make sure that every person affected by breast cancer has the same chances, no matter their country of residence,” commented Jürgen Vanpraet, MD of Think Pink Europe. “We want to ensure that new therapies and medicines are available for everybody and that breast cancer patients are treated optimally. We still have to face many challenges, but thanks to the support of valuable partners such as Olivia Garden, we are making a difference. Let’s continue to work together!”
Think Pink puts forward four clear goals: raise awareness, inform people, fund scientific research and support projects involving nursing and follow-up care, to not give breast cancer any chance.
“We are proud to be working with Think Pink again to help in the fight against breast cancer,” added Kai Ziekursch, General Manager of Olivia Garden Europe. “Our goal was to help the foundation again this year, and we are very happy with the result given the circumstances of the Covid crisis. Thanks to our customers who have been very supportive and committed to the cause, this is again a great success! We are already looking forward to the 2021 Edition, and we hope we will be even more successful in fighting breast cancer together.
