Poise - A Cut Above

With this collection Barry Maddocks wanted to fixate on the craft of each look, whilst ensuring there were beautiful podiums for the heads to sit on. Employing rich colours with muted overtones, Maddocks created editorial styles with a wearable aesthetic.

Gender non-confirmative styling but with identity. The resulting looks are really an exploration of grandeur and aristocracy, yet they have developed into something so much more precious and fragile. A delicate demeanour. Yet a bold posture – a poise.
