Postponed: International Hairdressing Awards

Postponed: International Hairdressing Awards

Due to ongoing the international travel restrictions and quarantine requirements caused by the global health situation, the International Hairdressing Awards will be postponing their awards presentations which were scheduled throughout the month of March.

It is estimated that if the pandemic figures continue to improve around the world, it can be done in April or May. As the weeks go by, the International Hairdressing Awards’ organisers will provide more information on dates and streamings.

Given the impossibility of holding a large international event, an announcement was made last January that third edition of the International Hairdressing Awards would take on an innovative format in order to deliver its awards: Mikel Luzea, founder and director, and Sergi Bancells, global ambassador of the awards, will travel around the world together with a recording team to hand-deliver the awards to the winners, with live broadcasting through Internet.

In addition to being broadcast live at the time of delivery, a docu-reality show will be held later with all the material obtained from global tour comprising all seven awards.

The International Hairdressing Awards are an independent beauty organisation, powered by hairdressers, that has been supported in its first edition by a main sponsor of international relevance who believe in the message and mission of these awards, Revlon Professional®. Salon Look Madrid-Ifema also acts as sponsor. The two highly regarded firms have bet high and combined forces to make this contest an international success as well as, Estetica Magazine as global media partner, with 24 editions worldwide, which will cover and aid in the efforts of this amazing event.
