Former F.A.M.E. Team member Casey Coleman inspired the Fellowship’s Project Colour about the world of colour, offering insights into the way he works, his ideas and inspirations.

Casey Coleman, who is one of the most exciting colourists of his generation, spent the day with The Fellowship’s Project Colour at the Goldwell Academy in London, showing them creative and commercial techniques and concepts.
Member Katie McLaughlin said: “Our day with Casey was amazing! The way he thinks about colour is out of this world. He opened up our eyes to see colour in a new light. We had a ‘potions class’ which was really fun where we learned to enhance the colour, neutralise it then bring it back.”

Louise Munro added: “This was an amazing day and I really enjoyed it! Casey took us through a bit of hair history and how hair colour has been perceived through the years. We then moved onto what inspires him and we found pictures that we found inspiring and how we could turn it into a look. We then had a go at working on swatches on how to make our own unique tones using the colour wheel and naturalising. Using some of these tones Casey showed us some colouring techniques and some top tips. It was a very inspiring day and you could tell he put a lot of effort into it which was really nice and appreciated.”
