A state-of-the-art new Samuel Chapman Salon has opened in Haywards Heath, specialising in colour, hair loss and beautiful, wearable hair. Owner Samuel Chapman is already the proud owner of his eponymous salon, located on the beautiful coast of Brighton & Hove.
Established in 2016, Samuel’s business has gone from strength to strength, with his second Samuel Chapman salon now open for business in the heart of Haywards Heath.
Wednesday 13th October saw the grand opening of the brand-new salon. Beautifully decorated for an all-out celebration, the doors were open to welcome local residents, businesses and influencers. Upon arrival guests receive a glass of bubbly and got the chance to meet the team and explore the beautiful new setting. Whilst visiting they have the opportunity to receive a complimentary consultation, a skin test for future colour appointments and a free goody bag full of Pureology hair products.
Samuel’s dream to open a second salon is now a reality. He has two salons focusing on providing clients with that pampering ‘me time’ they truly deserve. Samuel wanted to allow clients to pause on their everyday lives when visiting his salon. A place for people to unwind that isn’t just about leaving with beautiful hair.
The new salon consists of 8 stations and divided up with shelving to create a more intimate and personal experience. Lockdown has changed the way we live and work, with many clients looking for a more versatile salon experience. Samuel wanted to create a space that allows the customer to take their time; Consultations take place in the ‘living room’ area to allow clients to relax with a drink. This area is also for colour clients when colour is developing. The wash basin area evokes a warm, sunny feeling and fragranced with a unwind, relaxing room diffuser.
Stunning interiors with an atmosphere of calm
The calming atmosphere allows clients to relax and use the space to their full advantage. Whether they want to read a book, catch up on some work or simply take in the breath-taking scenery.
Commenting on the opening of the new salon, Samuel Chapman says, ‘I feel very proud that I am able to create new opportunities for our team members. The new salon also gives the team the chance to really grow and achieve their goals within their careers. Reopening after COVID has been difficult for so many businesses and I wanted our team to be reassured that not only that their jobs were safe but that they were able to develop and build their hairdressing careers at Samuel Chapman Salon.’
Samuel hopes that the new salon will attract a diverse clientele from the local area and beyond: ‘I would never want a customer to feel that they don’t belong in a salon, we’ve worked hard to also create somewhere that’s inclusive and honest.
