Wella Professionals is delighted to once again announce the launch of GenNOW – the brand’s search for the freshest new talent in hairdressing to form its team of rising-stars. The new 2021/2 team will be joined by their award-winning lead mentor, and former GenNOW team member, Luke Benson.
Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, GenNOW provides a priceless experience that will open doors to a wide range of educational opportunities and on-stage platform work at some of the industry’s biggest events. So, the search is on for 5 creative stylists who can demonstrate skills in a multitude of hair textures. Knowing the Wella product portfolio is crucial and being a key team player is a must. The opportunity is open to all stylists 18 years of age and over, with 3 – 8 years’ experience, based in the UK or Ireland. You do not need to be salon based, and a strong digital profile is an advantage.
The 5 successful stylists will embark on an incredible 18-month long creative journey with Luke Benson, who will mentor the team to develop their skills, build their profile and be an integral part of a diverse and inclusive team. Many GenNOW members go on to become Wella Craft Artists, making this a fantastic launch pad for any aspiring creative hairdresser.
Wella Professionals prides itself in celebrating the differences that make us each unique, and stresses that its GenNOW programme is open to ALL hairdressers who want to take the next step on their career journey.
Candidates can demonstrate their interest from 15th October 2020 via Instagram. They simply need to show examples of their work on Instagram (pictures or video in a carousel swipe post. NO stories please), adding some information about themself, their passions, and explain why they want to be on the GenNOW Team. They’ll need to use the hashtag #WellaGenNOW, tag @wellahairUKI and @lukebensonhair.
The deadline is 5th November (5pm) 2020.
