
In collaboration with Wella Professionals, we are delighted to announce the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of the TrendVision Award UK & Ireland 2020 awards, this year for the first time-ever in a digital format.
In true Wella style, competitors were fully supported throughout the competition with digital mentoring that included video briefs, zoom mentoring sessions and top tips from judges. Now, 27 winners from six categories have been crowned, which are: Colour Artist, Colour Specialist, Editorial Look, Craft Artist, Men’s Hair and Style Master. In addition, this year the competition also recognised the OPI Nail Artist of the Year which celebrates OPI’s leading nail artist in the UK.

The prestigious list of more than 40 judges included an elite list of the who’s who of hairdressing, each chosen for their expertise not just within the Wella portfolio, but across the hairdressing industry’s diverse range of brands. Judges included Andrew Dunne, Zoe Irwin, Jayson Gray, Rob Eaton, Sinead Kelly, Warren Boodaghian, Luke Benson, Leonardo Rizzo, Gustav Fouche, Dom Capel and Kerry Hayden.
Wella’s TrendVision Award is renowned for its incredible prize offerings and this year was no exception. Prizes include Wella Education packages and trophies. Gold winners will also receive a photo shoot experience to recreate their winning look, as well as a two-day photo shoot with leading industry photographer Kai Wan, mentored by Wella Guest Artist Darren Ambrose. They will create the TrendVision Award 2020 Winners’ Collection, which will appear in trade press and marketing campaigns. Gold winners will also be offered a place on the incredible Wella Destination global event and will also receive digital mentoring in 2021 to help further their careers.
